The following Terms and Conditions apply to the use of this Web site as well as all transactions conducted through the site.

  • How much is shipping? Free shipping on orders $99 and over. Orders less than $99 incur a flat rate shipping fee of $7.95. Most orders deliver via Priority Mail. See "How fast will my order be shipped" below.

    How do you know we received your order? You will receive an "Order Confirmation" email from us after you pay for your order. If you do not receive that email do the following - #1 Check your Spam folder. #2 Wait a few minutes then check your email/Spam folder again. If you still do not have an "Order Confirmation" email, your order did not process. This has only happened 6 times in 3 years so it's not common, but it can happen, especially around the holidays.

    How fast will my order be shipped? Products that are in stock at time of receipt of the order will be shipped within 24-48 hours (excluding Saturdays and Sundays). Most orders are shipped via USPS Priority Mail which delivers in 2-3 business days. Generally larger items (saddles, saddle pads, cowboy boots) ship FedEx or UPS. Please allow 5 - 7 days for delivery. If you prefer a quicker shipping method such as Next Day please call us. Extra charges will need to be billed to your credit card for special requests for shipment. If you prefer another shipping method, please contact us with specific instructions. The risk of loss and title for all merchandise ordered from Running Hard Products pass to you when the merchandise is delivered to the shipping carrier.

    In the event we are out of stock on an item, we'll make every effort to locate your product if our distributors cannot supply our needs. If we are unable to fulfill your order in a timely fashion, we will notify you by e-mail or phone with possible substitutions as well as an estimated ship date of the item.

    How fast will my custom color order ship? Orders for custom color items (Martha Josey reins, braided hand quirts, etc) can take up to 4 weeks (or longer depending on the time of year). We try to keep the most popular custom color items in stock, but some items have 16,000 possible color combinations. We just can’t keep that many color combinations of one item in stock.

    Do you ship internationally? We can! International orders are shipped via USPS priority mail. Please call us at 269-651-7902 for a shipping quote.

    Do I have to place my order online? We know that not everyone is comfortable placing orders online, so we can take your order and information over the phone at 269-651-7902. If no one answers please leave a message. We will call you back within 24 hours. If we don’t call you back, we didn’t get your message. 

    Do you charge sales tax? Orders shipped within the state of Michigan are charged sales tax. 

    Money back guarantee and returns? Running Hard Products wants you to be a satisfied customer. We believe you will be 100% satisfied with any item you purchase from us. We only deal with quality manufacturers. The items we select for sale in our shop are only high quality, rugged gear that can take punishment.

    If however, you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return it for an exchange or a refund, but we will deduct our actual shipping cost from your refund. We simply cannot absorb the cost of shipping an item that you return. Item must be returned within 10 days of receipt and must be in like new condition. Return shipping charges are the responsibility of the purchaser.

    Returns: Returns must be in unused, resaleable condition and returned within 10 days from receipt. Running Hard Products, Attn: Returns, 70905 Stubey Road, Sturgis, Mi 49091. Use this form for returning items: Return Form

    Bits: Once a bit is put in a horses mouth it cannot be returned. We have implemented this policy for sanitation reasons solely based on the health of the horse. We hope that our customers will understand our position on this matter.

    Saddle Pads and Blankets: If you are not completely satisified with your new blanket, sheet or saddle pad please return the unused product within 10 days of receipt. When trying on a blanket, sheet or saddle pad please avoid a 35% restocking fee by placing a large bed sheet or other item on your horse to protect the product from dirt and hair. Please return product with all tags and packaging.

    Saddle Return Policy: You must email or call within 3 days after receipt of a saddle to return it. Returned saddles will incur a $35 restocking fee plus we will deduct our actual shipping cost from your refund. NEW Saddles must be returned in NEW condition within 10 days of receipt. It must arrive in the same condition that we shipped it in. No dirt, smudge, stains, horse hair, or leather marks. All tags must be attached. Make sure your horse is clean and free of sweat, fly spray, conditioners, etc. It is OK to girth it up and sit in it (without stirrups), but do not ride in it until you are sure you want to keep it. Saddles with visible signs of wear, such as stirrup leather marks, are NOT returnable. NO EXCEPTIONS! Saddle will be returned at owner’s expense. NEW saddles that are returned in used condition will be subject to a 35% restocking charge.

    Custom color nylon orders are not returnable or refundable. In some instances, merchandise will need to be returned directly to the manufacturer.

    Payment options? A Paypal account is not required for purchase on this website, but it is an option at checkout. Visa, Mastercard, Discover are also options. We do accept checks and money orders, but please note your order will be held an extra 14 days for payment to clear. Running Hard Products reserves the right to change its payment procedures at any time without prior notice to you.

    Customer service? Customer service is available via phone 269-651-7902 or email BrreLhorse@aol.com. Email is best especially after 3pm Eastern time. Ocassionally, we're unavailable to answer the phone. Please leave a message and we'll return your call within 24 hours. If we do not return your call, we did not receive your message.

    Do you take consignments or trades? Yes! We do accept trades and we sell items on consignment. This includes saddles. Your item will be inspected and approved prior to placement in our shop. If it's not an item we feel comfortable with reselling, it will not be approved.

    The legal stuff: This site may contain other proprietary notices and copyright information, the terms of which must be observed and followed. Information on this site may contain technical inaccuracies or typographical errors. Information, including product pricing and availability, may be changed or updated without notice. Running Hard Products and its subsidiaries reserve the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, and/or cancel orders in its discretion, including, without limitation, if Running Hard Products believes that customer conduct violates applicable law or is harmful to the interests of Running Hard Products and its subsidiaries.

    MISCELLANEOUS: The Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between you and Running Hard Products with respect to this website. The Terms and Conditions supercede all prior or contemporaneous communications and proposals, whether electronic, oral or written between you and Running Hard Products with respect to this website. No modification of the Terms and Conditions shall be effective unless it is authorized by Running Hard Products. If any provision of the Terms and Conditions is found to be contrary to law, then such provision(s) shall be constructed in a manner to closely reflect, as much as possible, the intentions of the parties, with the other provisions remaining in full force and effect.
