Leather Bonnet Tie Down

• Supple leather
• 3/4 inch poll piece
• 1-1/4 inch rings
• Brow and throat pieces are rolled and stitched
• 5 pre punched holes for adjustability. Additional holes can be punched to make it smaller.
• Please note: Leather is lighter colored than in the pictures.

Size: Leather measures 17 inches from brow ring to bottom ring. Leather browband measures 17 inches across.

Works closely as a tiedown that prevents a horses head from elevating too high.

Bonnets are widely used in the barrel racing and rodeo industry. They are similar to a tiedown in that it keeps a horses head from getting too elevated. The difference though is that a bonnet will allow a horse to extend it's nose. Rather than keep it collected in, as a noseband tiedown would.
